The NVIDIA/Mellanox Q56-100G-SR2H-A Compatible 100G SR2 QSFP56 Optical Transceiver Module is a high-performance 100Gb/s 2-channel optical transceiver designed for demanding High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI supercomputing, and cloud data center environments. Utilizing 2 independent 53.125Gb/s PAM4 optical channels at an 850nm wavelength, this transceiver converts electrical data for up to 100 meters high-speed transmission over multimode fiber (MMF).
Engineered with an MPO-12/APC (Angled Physical Contact) connector interface, this QSFP56 transceiver minimizes optical back reflection to maximize signal integrity in high-density optical fabrics. It fully complies with InfiniBand HDR protocols, QSFP56 MSA standards, IEEE 802.3 100GBASE-SR2, and 100G Ethernet specifications. Equipped with integrated Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DOM/DDM) via the I2C interface, it provides real-time tracking of operating temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, and optical transmit/receive power levels. It is 100% verified for seamless plug-and-play compatibility with NVIDIA Quantum QM8700 / QM8790 InfiniBand Switches and ConnectX-6 / ConnectX-7 / BlueField-3 DPU Network Interface Cards (NICs / HCAs).
