The NVIDIA MMS4X00-NS is an original 800Gb/s (2x400Gb/s) Twin-port OSFP optical transceiver designed for high-density, low-latency AI supercomputing and hyperscale enterprise networks. Supporting both NVIDIA NDR InfiniBand and 400GbE Ethernet protocols, this parallel single-mode transceiver features two independent 4-channel 100G-PAM4 engines delivering aggregate throughputs of up to 800Gbps over single-mode fiber (SMF) up to 100 meters.
Engineered with a Finned-Top OSFP shell, the MMS4X00-NS provides thermal management for air-cooled switch environments such as NVIDIA Quantum-2 (QM9700/QM9790) NDR InfiniBand switches and Spectrum-4 Ethernet platforms. Utilizing dual MPO-12/APC optical connectors, it supports flexible interconnect topologies including direct 800G switch-to-switch links, dual 400G straight connections to ConnectX-7 / BlueField-3 DPUs, or 1:2 breakout configurations connecting up to four 200G NDR200 endpoints.
