The NVIDIA/Mellanox MFS1S90-H Compatible 2x200G AOC 2xQSFP56 to 2xQSFP56 Active Optical Splitter H-Cable is a specialized VCSEL-based active optical breakout cable assembly designed for 200Gb/s InfiniBand (IB) HDR (High Data Rate) systems. Operating over 850nm multimode fiber (MMF), this 2x200G to 2x200G cross-connect cable enables high-density switch-to-switch interconnects between Top-of-Rack (ToR) and Spine switches.
Engineered with 2x QSFP56 connectors on each end and a durable LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket, this active optical splitter cable allows an HDR InfiniBand QSFP56 switch port to operate flexibly as 2x HDR100 links. By constructing a non-blocking fat-tree topology and doubling available port density, it eliminates entire layers of switching equipment in large-scale cluster architectures (1600 to 3200 HDR100 ports)—drastically cutting CAPEX, OPEX, and overall network transmission latency. It is 100% verified for plug-and-play compatibility with NVIDIA Quantum QM8700 / QM8790 switches and ConnectX-6 Smart NICs.
