The MMA4Z00-NS400 (980-9I51S-00NS00 / OSFP-400G-SR4H) is a high-performance 400Gb/s Single-port OSFP optical transceiver engineered for AI supercomputing, high-density host adapters (ConnectX-7), BlueField-3 DPUs, and enterprise cloud fabrics. Available in two industry-leading hardware configurations—Broadcom DSP & Broadcom VCSEL or Coherent VCSEL & Broadcom DSP—this 4-channel parallel multimode module operates at 850nm using 100G-PAM4 modulation to ensure exceptionally low Bit Error Rates (BER) and maximum link stability.
Designed with a Riding Heat Sink (RHS / Flat-Top) OSFP shell, the MMA4Z00-NS400 is ideal for liquid-cooled servers, DGX compute nodes, and adapter cards. Utilizing a single MPO-12/APC optical connector, it supports direct 400G multimode links up to 50 meters on OM4 fiber. Furthermore, when connected to a 1:2 splitter fiber cable, the transceiver automatically detects the 2-channel split end and scales down to 200G speed, significantly reducing operational power consumption.
