Unlike passive DAC cables limited to 3 meters, this active cable incorporates a specialized pre-emphasis equalizer IC inside each connector head, extending reach up to 5 meters while maintaining ultra-low latency and a minimal power footprint (<1.5W per end).
Featuring Finned-Top / Integrated Heat Sink (IHS) OSFP connectors on both ends, the MCA4J80-N003 is purpose-built for optimal thermal management and direct airflow inside air-cooled switch chassis. It is fully verified for seamless interconnectivity across 800G InfiniBand NDR and 800G Ethernet platforms, including NVIDIA Quantum-2 (QM9700 / QM9790) and NVIDIA Q3200-RA switches.
