The NVIDIA/Mellanox Compatible 400G 2xSR4 OSFP Finned Top Optical Transceiver Module is an eight-channel, parallel, pluggable fiber-optic module designed for ultra-high-density High-Performance Computing (HPC), AI supercomputing, and 400G enterprise cloud data center networks. Utilizing 8 independent 50Gb/s PAM4 optical lanes at an 850nm wavelength, this transceiver delivers up to 400Gbps aggregate throughput over multimode fiber (MMF).

Featuring an integrated Finned Top (IHS) heat sink design and Dual MPO-12/APC (Angled Physical Contact) connectors, this OSFP module ensures optimal thermal dissipation in air-cooled switch chassis while minimizing optical back-reflection. It fully complies with InfiniBand HDR protocols, OSFP MSA standards, CMIS 4.0, IEEE 802.3cm, and 400G Ethernet specifications. Equipped with Digital Diagnostic Monitoring (DOM/DDM) via the I2C interface, it allows real-time tracking of operating temperature, supply voltage, laser bias current, and transmit/receive optical power. It is 100% verified for seamless compatibility with NVIDIA Quantum-2 QM9700 / QM9790 InfiniBand Switches.
